While delivering a lecture to the media aspirants of the “Professional Diploma in News Anchoring” at UET Lahore, I started the class by doing a small activity, I gave a topic to each student and ask them to speak just to know that for how long they can talk and how confidently they can talk on camera without getting hesitate. Furthermore, I have shared some useful tips on how they can improve their speaking skills and can talk for so long, “Practice makes a man perfect” and I asked all of them to act upon it wholeheartedly.
In the second half, my emphasis was on the improvisation of the voice that how voice can get better by doing practice, it was discussed in the class that body language matters a lot and it really shows that how much confident you are and selection of words are also important just to engage the audience, I concluded the session by having a question and answer session just to clear all the ambiguities in the minds of the students.
