I gave a lecture on the 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 of the media house to students enrolled in the “𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠” at 𝐔𝐄𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞. I also elaborated on responsibilities and discussed how the team working on the mainstream channel plays a crucial role in news production. I also discussed how each channel resource works tirelessly to deliver news on time, the duties of each resource were also elaborated with examples just to make it clear to the aspirants.
The second half of the lecture today covered a very different topic to raise awareness among the students. In order to become an anchor, it is crucial to understand what is meant by state and the various elements of the state. All that was intended was to foster awareness among the candidates so that they could distinguish between their respective states with ease in the future.
