While delivering a lecture to the media students of ‘Professional Diploma in News Anchoring’ at UET Lahore, I started the class by engaging the students in the small exercise of writing the counting in Urdu and also the Urdu alphabets so that I came to know how much they like the Urdu language and how much desperate they are to learn and read the Urdu Language.
I asked them to read the written material just to let them know how fluent they are in Urdu and how much improvement is required to make it better, then I asked the aspirants to read the news but they were hesitating while reading the difficult words, I guided them that how to pronounce the word properly and how Urdu reading is important then I concluded the lecture with the question-answer session.
